BIT Live Stockholm 2008 (Sept 13th) - Thanx for the fun!

First off: Rock act 6581 consisting of Reyn Ouwehand, Romeo Knight and me have recruited 19 year old basist Anders Larsson for our gig at BIT Live STHLM. Anders is a true musician and a perfect adddition to the band.

Secondly, Mat, we're all gonna meet up in a pub Friday evening for the traditional booze-up. Which pub has not been decided yet. Watch this space, as they say! What hotel are you in?

Attention People who are leaving from Finland

So far I have found one person from Finland who is going to event. We been talking about leaving from Turku, course then it would be possible come back at sunday morning ship and then no hotelroom needed.

Is there others who are leaving/return from Turku who has space at their cabin for two or two who would like to share cabin with us? Cabin for 4 would be less expensive.

Post this one on Facebook as well. I know Mixer and Zardax of Origo plus an Amiga scener friend is coming from Finland. I'm sure they would be interested in this if not living too far south.

Thinking of changing my plans. As I dont fly in till late and into Skavsta which aint exactly too close Im gonna lug myself into a hotel close to the airport on the Friday night and then get a bus or something into Stockholm early Saturday morning to hopefully meet up with some of yers for a flaggan or two on the Saturday and get a room someplace near the gig for the sat night (and then hopefully see some of you on the Sunday depending on buses etc back to the airport)

I dont use facebook, but tryed contact Mixer before and havent hear from him long time. Also other guy who was leaving told that he tryed contact Mixer, but no luck. I am from Hyvinkää and was going to leave from Turku then it would be possible get sundaymoring dayship back Finland. Other guy is from north Finland. But cabin place would be needed. If there is free space at someones cabin or someone wants get cabin with us. It would be nice hear soon

If its not possible go from Turku (noone is going from there) we can take ship from Helsinki too.

I've been in contact with Mika, it however appears that we have a different plan, though we will see about that. Also, the boats from Helsinki are already surprisingly well booked for that weekend so it makes sense to act now.

I do not think that anyone is making a special group-trip effort other than it would be nice to know if someone will be in same boat.

I did get ship cabinet yeasterday from Turku to Stockholm. There is two places free and cabin is for four. Also I have one extra ticket.

What time BIT Live event start and when it ends? Our ship back Finland left early at morning and I guess we can get to terminal at 6:00 sundaymorning. Anyway it would be very nice if there were place where we could stay those couble hours after event before ship leaves. Its not nice be at streets of Stockholm 4.00-6.00. I really hope that event place wont close earlyer, course it can be long night at street.

So if someone has ideas, I am listening..

Mika, BIT Live opens at 19:00 and closes at 02:00, possibly 03:00. Maybe the terminal is open for you guys?
