RSS feeds for forum

Post by xo »

Hello Markus, Have you considered supplying RSS feeds for the forums/topics? If this is some standard PHP forum, perhaps it already supports that feature. Its not an important feature but something to maybe think about.

A nice idea, and fortunately someone wrote the appropriate mod. I've implemented it, access it via Firefox's RSS icon, or the link at the bottom. :)

Firefox shows a "sattelite dish" icon at the bottom right of the page. Click there to add a "dynamic Bookmark" to your bookmarks list. This will create a folder which always contains the latest 15 forum entries. :)

Spa-lendid work, that man.

Now if you could add an RSS feed for the news section on the main site. (Let me know if you want a copy of the code I wrote to generate the RKO latest-10-remixes feed)

So you have. I hardly blinked. :)

Tas, you can also get a separate news reader, for example Feed Daemon (commercial) or SharpReader (free). Word has it that the next version of Outlook Express will have support for RSS. (No pun intended.)

Need to add this to it though:
