Supremely delayed response, this, but I'm not on here much these days. However, I just wanted to say: great job! Sidplay/Mac is now like a little iTunes, and the addition of smart playlists is great to see. It'd probably be nice (if it's possible) to see more 'standard' controls top-left (back/next, rather than stop/fast forward), but it's still good to know the project's alive, and the new UI is a massive improvement. Being able to just run the entire HVSID as a randomised jukebox is excellent.

I'll try and get some reviews into the Mac press over the next month of so.

I've released SIDPLAY 4.1.3 yesterday, which fixes a playback bug that appeared in Snow Leopard.

But probably more interesting is the fact that I've added simple integration with RKO and Remix64.com.
Basically you can do "Find Remixes", and it'll show you all remixes available from RKO, and
a direct link to the Remix64 page for that particular tune:

Enjoy!

What would really be interesting was a Windows version of it. Now go get started :)

Yes, why no update on that one? :D
Or so we have to get a mac or a virutal mac if that works. :P

Great update. I've learned a lot of Cocoa programming this year so I'm familiar with the challenge of developing an application to meet the high usability standards of the Mac platform. You've done an ace job and this RKO/Remix64 integration is a fantastic addition.

cheers.

Thanks analoq!

I wouldn't know how to do the same thing on Windows anyway, as there are no good examples of how an app
should look like and behave. Everybody does their own thing, and not even Microsoft follows their own rules.
