IMO most Amiga versions of C64 music (not all of course) either sound a lot different or have a different flavor anyway. For example, Amiga Turrican vs C64 Turrican - totally different. Again IMO, I think Amiga-remixes of previously covered C64 songs would be OK, as long as the remixer is really bas...

I'd be interested in doing something like that. It would be a quite the collaborative effort but sure I'm game. Anything to make the scene more integrated and centralized is good IMO.
