Re: Hello again from an old, forgotten member.

I remember your remixes fondly. Not forgotten at all.

I recommend Shen Lon's remixes, if you're into fine untz. FastLoaders if you're into rock and metal.

As for remixing SIDs, you could go for a Mitch & Dane track maybe?

Re: Arpeggios in Sids

Sidplay is invaluable in these situations. You can solo each channel in a SID. I usually just render out three or four channels as wav when I start a new remix. If you have a hard time telling what the notes are, you can slow down the wavs in your DAW.

Re: Long time ago...

One question though... When's the band coming back together to make some more dance tunes like this? :D

BiT Bergen was an awesome event. Props to Bård and Jarle for setting it up. Was cool to meet people in the scene face-to-face!

For me personally, my favorite Detert-work is that remix of Shades you did. An awesome piece, both artistically and technically. Would be awesome to hear more from that side of you. :cheers:

Re: Should i?

This thread derailed nicely. :D I’ve had lots of mice in the house and garage this past season, and I’ve come to the conclusion that the classic claptrap (?) is the best allround solution. It’s killed instantly, and you get to remove the corpse. These worked really well for me: http://www.bayergarde...

Re: Human Race (subtune 4) [project diary]

I recently tidied up all the projects files for the remixes I've done in Reaper so far, which includes rendering out stems. So, for anyone interested, here are the stems for this track:

Would it be asking too much to make another ambient / chillout version of this? Basically just strip the drum section hehe (the first steps you posted is the directionI had in mind).
That would be cool, but I do not want to devote time to doing that right now unfortunately. :P

Re: What does this music draw inspiration from?

I think you would have more luck asking classical music connoisseurs than SID-connoisseurs.

Maybe try here? -> https://www.reddit.com/r/classicalmusic/
