> because he's the only person I think could do that tune justice. I think it would be fairer to say that only a full orchestral treatment a la Glyn could do the tune justice: there are quite a few arrangers currently developing their orchestral stuff who could also make a decent job of it, such as ...

I wasn't joking about using Boz for the redesign: C64Audio.com will look completely different, and will be back-end data driven. I don't need to be told this, really: I've been saying it myself to anyone who will listen for about a year! > (the coments i know are probably telling you to suck eggs, >...

Um
So far he's not done anything wrong, since he gives live performances but doesn't sell CDs. He doesn't mention Hubbard on the site though, which is a bit poor. In theory (if he hasn't claimed 100% ownership of the track, which most non-RKO people do) his playing the pieces should indirectly attract ...

Completely bloody rewrite the whole damn site.
Preferably using Boz. That's my advice, Mr so-called Abbott.

That does present a bit of a problem, and is one of the reasons why in the end the Amiga vs C64 thing is much murkier than it appears, especially for people like Huelsbeck. For the moment my personal opinion would be to put remixes up which are equally famous on both platforms, or more famous on the...

Yeah
I'd also like to give Markus a huge pat on the back for the amazing coding behind R64: the fact that no one thinks about it is a testament to its success

Lies, all lies
To quote the ID3 tag in Honorabili's "Faery Tale" on Amigaremix.com "19 Individual Instruments 185 Polyphonic Channels" Ahem. I'm guessing one instrument (maybe two at the outside), and three polyphonic channels. I'd love to see the source file. 185 polyphonic channels???????????...

I like it a lot... it sounds a bit like Genesis to me in the later stages (a good thing)... my ear does keep tripping over the fact that the arpeggio at the beginning isn't the same as the SID though. My dislike of inaccuracies like this is legendary, so it's my problem... I'd better deal with it......
