Got the samples today. 183 recorded directly from the original songs from Jeroen Tel's Commodore 64. Ah, I just love it being a big MoN-fanboy-slut. He says it took him two days to set up all the channels correctly (individually) and record it. Anyway, the sounds are absolutely fat. This jus...

I feel your pain.

We just lost our pregnancy too. Fortunately only 9 weeks in.

We just have to try again

In some extreme situations I might have 3 - 5 dB of GR in the L2, but usually a lot less and only on transients. I then have anywhere between no clipping and 0.9 dB of clipping.

Give me Waves L1 Ultramaximizer and I'm milling your ad so flat, your ears will explode! Haarrhaarrharrr!!.
Glad you don't have the L2 and a clipper. Then it'll be really "loud". Or just super obnoxious.

Klein+Hummel O 300 D ... the perfect speaker.

Infamous.. I've been very busy for the past year and probably will be in the nearest future too, so all my C64 plans are on the slow burner right now :-/ I still regularly check in here and read the posts (and sometimes post) and listen to SLAY Radio though. However, I'm busy because I have lots of ...

Thanks for the tip.

I'm very picky so that would mean going thru some 500-1000 patches :-) Of course I went thru 12.000 the other day

Vosla: I've once read a study that people with slightly impaired hearing have an enhanced awareness for mp3 compression artifacts. They assumed that the limited perception of the soundscape disables the concept of psychoacoustics, which is the basis for mpeg audio compression. So people with bad he...

Anybody who has good copyright free C64 sounds (especially sound effects like sweeps, sweeping zaps, weird effects etc), are very welcome to send these to me for inclusion on the sample cd, although there's no money or free cd's in it (cheap, I know) ;-) I need 16 bit 44.1 kHz WAV files, although an...

Jeroen Tel on Hit Kit V3

I'm finishing work on my 3rd sample cd this month (or rather mid August), and I'm getting a special bank of C64 drum sounds from Jeroen Tel on the sample cd along the other thousands of drum sounds and effects.

He's sending it tomorrow, so I'm very excited.

Pretty cool 8)

I believe the patch was called "LagerEgo Website", maybe DHS was a bit inspired by my self-congratulatory style.

Or it could be someone else entirely.

I hope it's not seen as "cheating" but since I have a studio I use Klein+Hummel O 300 D + O 800 sub (all active). Mogami cable, and SPL MTC-2381 monitor controller. Right now I use an RME ADI-8 DS as converter but I will be switching to DAD AX24 (http://www.digitalaudio.dk) or Crane Song H...
