I should have known that there's always a fine excuse for this topic. :lol:
No doubt I love (too small word) them too and not only because they contain the original orchestral JW track in bg :-)

Hey, don't worry about it :wink: Since it shouldn't be taste to have a range of low to high, I am saying myself that these guys just vote it down because they are scared that it is soooo good, that it will walk onto #1-10 and push off one of their favs. At least maybe some kiddies because I can see ...

I need to make some remarks to it, then they should be useful for you. When I get time to rush over it, I'll send them to you, mate !
Do you have the other 'freeware' CALs from the net or want them too ?

Well, as it is you can't really please everyone and we are lying to ourselves if you think you can do. Otherwise I am scared that it is possible to hit someones emotions with a remix as we seemed to have done with it with Sweet - in a positive as negative way. For you LaLa I can say that your (open)...

Well, won't say good. Anway all I needed I got programmed. It's half a year ago I did the last thing, so I would probably need almost the same time to get in when I needed a new macro. But I when I see that a macro programming takes 4 hours but can save in a year 50 hours in sequencing, there's no d...

What I love is that Sonar comes with a macro language. You can program your own (or even donwload from others) macros to make your work faster (e.g. legato or faking legato with overlapping) with one-push-button. I think every program needs some time to handle. For me the fastest to handle was Reaso...

-> 500 Internal server error

Yup, have that very often since the crash. But then it's really fast the next moment. As there is an internal server error which comes from Apache afaik, the server is reachable but do not respond, right ?

I had this thing last year at the 'old' RKO version also once.

I have uploaded a remix of 7.9 MB (at #27 :shock:) this night and it seemed to work fine. I was scared how quick it was since the last days I had a lot of bandwith probs with RKO and even timeouts.
Maybe a 8MB prob ?

If you look out your window you might just see Mahoney running down your road with trophy aloft ala Olympics style Well, I am looking since some hours but can't see him here :cry: :wink: Anyway, I gladly hand over the trophy to you. Keep it, and enjoy it.... it only lasts a year... Got it from the ...

Markus, yes please send that midi file to me :) Done. Have phun ! PS: I use the legato strings for all sustained things when there's no divisi. It's much better then overlapping the notes and you hear the bow moving. Won't miss that. Only the upbow and downbow on short notes could be better on VSL....

Same for me. Thanks to all who voted. :D
I hope I can do the same amount remixes as I did last year.

And btw. I am glad Trauma did it with the most innovative/creative remix onto #1 since I have the same opinion about that. Remember I said the same to you at BitLive Brighton, Trauma ?

Thanks

Well, I am not sure if you are pleased with the more classical libraries when you search for the more string ensemble sound, which 'seems' to be presented by a strings pad. The technique behind a pad is chorus fx and multilayering. The origin strings sound comes from the scoring using 1st violins, 2...
