It's an interesting attempt. Very mellow, got some nice touches. I do agree with hoomish that the melody is not as strong as it could be.

There's been a big thread in the CommodoreOne message list about the analogue nature of SID, with various people talking about distortion and clock speed and so on. Has anyone noticed this sort of thing with their SID?

You're mad as a fish, Chris.

Which makes me half-mad, cos I'm half fish

Actually, a rewrite may become necessary if the volume of Amiga stuff increases.

Overlander had some nice ideas, trying to expand on the Roadblasters stylee, but the gameplay sucked.

Subtune 2 is very atmospheric, would suit a modern dance remix, sort of Darude, sort of Das Glockenspiel

Yeah, Terry Brooks, that Landover series rules. A perfect combo of dry American humour and fantasy - plus he plays around with conventions. Douglas Adams? I'm currently reading Salmon of Doubt, the "collected" writings from his hard-drive. I wasn't sure about the idea when I first heard it...

Re: S.N.O.R 2

My ex is heavily into Eddings, McAffrey and a lot of other fantasy stuff. Which meant that I read the back-covers of her collection at one time when I had run out of books to read. Have to say I was totally unimpressed with the lot of it. Methinks life's too short to read about some far-away world ...

David & Leigh Eddings rock! The best bit is the "extra" novels like Polgara the Sorceress and the Rivan Codex, which delve deep into the mythology - a bit like the Silmarilion (or however you spell it) from Tolkein. The Tamuli (with Sparrowhawk) is excellent as well, he is just such a ...

A friend of mine leant me the Zahn novels, very good, very much in the Lucas style. Love all the stuff about learning a culture's tactics from it's artwork. Just read Mos Eisley Cantina - interesting book. Phil Jupitus does a standup routine where he says "Chewbacca - in all three films, no sub...

Try the Thomas Covenant series, now that is epic fantasy.

Also, that girl, she is really good looking *puts glasses back on*

Sometimes it is better to link to the page, because then people will find out more about the remix than just the file itself. It may also encourage people to look around the site(s) as well.

Max, your little editorial is very good, keep doing it.

As for the GBA version of IK+, apparently it was John & Steve Rowlands (Creatures programmers) who did the game, with Jon Wells supplying the music...

Infamous, the title tune from Mayhem IS inspired by the Tiny Toons theme tune, but not 100% accurate. I think it suits the game.

Industrial stuff? How about the samples in Ricochet by Ample Hamble (Rob Hubbard)?

Silkworm - two player was fun, the jeep was annoying when playing on your own, and why was the enemy counter in hex?

SWIV - some nice ideas, but very difficult. Fairly standard Martin Walker tunes, some nice bits - definitely an industrial/military snare sort of remix would suit it
