Review
It's silly to say I only review tunes where I know the original. It's just not true. The criteria for reviewing the 350 I did were that they were the latest 350 uploads on RKO at the time I did it! However, it does make it harder to review something you already know. Also, it depends on whether you ...

CD
I let people download an entire new CD, and heard virtually nothing... it's pretty normal, I think. Look at the ratio of RKO downloads to feedback emails, votes or reviews...

Hmmm.
Well, I'm not massively hopeful. Our little voting scam was probably beaten by a load of other voting scams
Still, never mind eh?

Try Crystal Dreamscapes now: the whole CD!
http://www.c64audio.com/shop Crystal Dreamscapes, the first New Age album containing C64 melodies is now available for preorder. Since it's such a weird CD, I'm experimenting with allowing you to download the entire album in 24kbps stereo MP3 (10Mb) so that you can make a _really_ informed buying d...

Paints and mushrooms (whoever reads this anyway??)
I know a remix is good when it inspires me to think about doing one similar (for a few seconds, at least). This did So, kudos (nice intro, too).

Um..
> that was an XG midi I think (Chris?).
A bit more than that, but not much more. The MIDI file will be useful to people eventually.

ID3
Why not just use what the arranger has put in the ID3 tag?
This is also amusing in some ways... though a lot of people probably leave it blank or put "game".

Feedback
Drumbeat sounds a bit tame compared to Instant Remedy. Might be it needs more compression or something, I dunno offhand. Maybe a bit laid back for a power anthem (which this is, really). Maybe you need to mess up those C64 arps a bit over time (normal filter squelching). You could also make more of ...

Open Source
Incidentally, as an aside, I will soon be releasing many of the source files behind the CD tracks for general enjoyment and remixing, as well as MIDI and WAVs, as part of the repositioning of C64Audio.com. So although there will be a couple of strings attached (ask permission before using in commerc...

Facts
<<< That I seriously doubt. How many remixes that are on RKO have been featured on a CD after it's "RKO release"? Close to none! >>> If something is released on CD after it's been "talentspotted" on RKO, then it tends to have been completely rerecorded for CD (like O2's Zoids or ...
