Eh... No? Also, I'm pretty certain that if I did, it would tell me that I can't listen since I'm not in the UK. Can anyone grab the audio, so us non-brits can have a listen?

Re: The Last Ninja™ - Live 'Metal' Cover Versions!

> [1] I might go as far as to say that in time, Ninja Musicology has the potential to replace BIT3 as my favorite listen-from-start-to-end remix album. (Sorry Chris) Nah, Project Sidologie will do that. Possibly five times :) Haven't listened to the Project Sidologie previews, so it's entirely poss...

Re: The Last Ninja™ - Live 'Metal' Cover Versions!

Also, the "Metal" label shouldn't scare people off. It's more rock than metal, I think. There's probably a name for this particular subgenre. :)

Re: The Last Ninja™ - Live 'Metal' Cover Versions!

Holy crowdfunding-extravaganza, Batman! 3 kickstarter projects have delivered since I wrote the previous post. Anyway, I just finished listening to all 2 hours and 24 minutes of the Fastloaders "Ninja Musicology", that came out in digital form earlier today - and all of it is rather awesome. Goes to...

Re: The Last Ninja™ - Live 'Metal' Cover Versions!

To be fair, only two of the currently "overdue" kickstarter things I've backed are music projects and the most delayed one is for a physical product that's proved to be harder to mass produce than the creators originally planned for. Rather, my current fattigue is mostly based on many of the project...

Re: The Last Ninja™ - Live 'Metal' Cover Versions!

Despite me developing a strong case of crowdfunding-fattigue over the years*, I have backed this one at the "Physical Ninja" level. Because Ninjas. (* Helping 14 projects fund over the past 4 years, only to have 5 of them deliver - and the majority of the remaining ones be up to a year late can do t...

A bargain compared to the ebay-listing for BIT2 that comes with a £39 price tag.

Re: Aargh there isn't enough time!

Ditto. Which is part of the reason that the latest episode of the C64 Takeaway was almost two years ago.

On the plus side, I've also been doing volunteer work at the local arcade (yes, they do still exist) since March so that eats up quite a bit of time.

Re: jealousy, bitterness and idiocy

As far as I recall, the C64 Mafias " Paperboy (So you don't like rap music) " was born out of the exact same frustrations that you're encountering - bad reviews left by peoples distaste for a particular genre, and nothing else. Honestly, I thought that the community had matured on since then. Also, ...

Re: Jeroen Tel - Tel Me More (Remake Album)

Roughly 25 hours to go now, and despite the campaign probably not achieving the symbolic goal of 38.911 USD[1], Jeroen has posted an update that the album and various perks will see the light of day. I chipped in $10 for the MP3/FLAC download version. [1] Notice anything familiar about that number? :D

Re: Jeroen Tel - Tel Me More (Remake Album)

The major differnce between Kickstarter and Indiegogo is that the latter uses what they call "flexible funding". Which means that Jeroens campaign will receive all funds raised regardless of it reaching its goal or not. Which might keep some people from chipping in. The arcade where I volunteer did ...

Good man. Well, "Good men" really. Sorry I didn't pick up on it being a playful comment. But good to see that Chris did.

Move along, everyone. :)
