Re: (name removed) please remove my tracks from your playlist
Don't need it. They have been removed now, same for "Combat Crazy" which was the only one I had in the 24/7 playlist. Do you ever tell the truth? Because I know my remix of Lost Patrol was on the 24/7 playlist! But thanks for finally deleting the trax. Now I believe Chris had some demands...

Re: 'djbalor' caught stealing C64 remixes
He has posted a remix of Basshunter's 'DOTA' as well - there's a gazillion remixes of that, so it might be hard to confirm, but I'm pretty sure the only work DjBalor did on that was change the ID3 tag.
He didn't even go with a different name this time around? Talk about lack of creative thinking.

Re: (name removed) please remove my tracks from your playlist
I will certainly remove nothing from our playlist as long as every track is available for free on RKO. What would you do if I copied all the images from your photogallery, created my own gallery with your pictures, and then refused to delete them unless you deleted the images from you gallery as we...

Re: (name removed) please remove my tracks from your playlist
Great! Outstanding! I just have waited for your first "welcome action" as new admin. I love how you think you can get sympathy by provocing the admins over and over, and then when the reaction comes go "Come and see the violence inherent in the system! HELP! HELP! I'm being repressed...

Re: age distribution and home computers
Born 1980. The C64 was my first computer, and as such it will always be special to me, but it was on the Amiga I learned to get creative with computers. I reluctantly switched to PC in '97, simply because there was no convenient future for the Amiga anymore. As a music machine, the test of time has ...

Re: The voting system on rko
The current voting system is as good in balance as it might be, IMO. I agree. I think this voting system is among the best and most fair ones I've seen in a community like this. Considering LMan's got almost a decades experience in running the site, I think his opinion and decisions deserve to be s...

Re: (name removed) please remove my tracks from your playlist
I've been thinking about the same thing for quite a while, but I didn't want to come off as petty. Seeing as I'm not alone with this wish, I'd like to do the same. (name removed), please remove all remixes that I've been involved with from your playlist. That includes both my own remixes and remixes...

Makke: It's no probs ordering from their website. No extra expenses Yes. I decided to only get the downloadable stuff - saves the fuzz of customs when physical products are shipped. Still, I would've liked to have the pre-order perks. Oh well... Really looking forward to another part of the greates...

Re: Ziphoid is new Remix64 admin
You just proved my point. In your world, you are allowed to "question" everything around here, but as soon as someone questions you, and your agenda, it's "unfair".
Thanks for making my point so clear. I couldn't have done it better myself.

Re: Ziphoid is new Remix64 admin
If this is the only decent reaction you have, you rather need help about general behavior; only 160 postings and one of them nothing than an insult. You are in dire need of this? Oh, Manuel, please! You constantly insult people here as soon as anyone criticizes you the slightest. You hide behind &q...

LMan's done a spectacular job at the helm of R64, and I know he'll continue to do a great job from the shadows.
I'd also like to wish Ziphoid - even though I know he doesn't need luck - good luck in ALL his future scene-ventures!

Re: Whats the difference between a remix and a cover version?
The notion that you can cover all possible aspects of rearrangement in two words - cover and remix - is perhaps an impossibility. For my definitions we need to have one more "type" - interpretation. So my definitions would go, and they're in no way fool proof: Cover - An attempt to recreat...

I don't remember an Iron Maiden track called Kill the King. Which album is it from?
I had a listen to the Megadeth song Kill the King, but I didn't really hear the similarities.

For those interested, the entire live show from KB last month has been added to YouTube:

The sound isn't great - but it does seem to highlight every error done on stage.

Re: Monkey Island 5 and 6
I agree, LMan. It doesn't look graphically stunning, but since I'll play it anyway, I'm hoping the story and humour will be the main focus. Tellatale has also put Sam & Max Surfin' the Highway back in print, so an order is inevitable. I've asked on the Telltale forums about a European distributo...
