Uh.

It must be at least 15 years since I last heard that and I still remembered (from reading the mod name alone) how it goes and what comes next after each part. Not really that good, but apparently quite catchy at least :)

Believe me, Reaktor is the most versatile and massive instrument for synthesizing sounds you could ever think of. I use it for everything, even for sounddesign and creating SFX for commercials. For everything except "real" samples. Oh, I know that. I'm just too lazy to tinker with sounds ...

Hehe, ever tried Reaktor? :) I own it, never used it yet :) I hope that when I get the damn KORE working (I need to reinstall all NI software, the whole Komplete set) I'll actually get to use those things. BTW, anyone need Komplete Care 2006? I bought KORE and hadn't registered my KC2006 so their s...

I so want to like it but... no. Just can't. It's just too complex. As if it tries to be too many things at the same time or something. I guess it's just the weird split construction. As always, I reserve the right to change my mind after actually trying it though:) Last synth I really liked was the ...

Interesting tidbit I read yesterday... Iron Maiden is releasing a new CD in August and is apparently leaving it totally unmastered because that way "you will get to hear the new album exactly as it sounded in the studio, no added EQ, compression, analog widening, etc." (couldn't find the s...

I sent the complete lyrics with the narrator's parts to Jan after finishing the song, but I couldn't find the email anymore. So the narrator's parts are missing from Makke's lyrics since they were done by another friend of mine :)

Nice work, quite a bit better than the first version. I especially liked the addition of the outro solo even if it feels a bit awkward, but that's just a question of getting used to it probably. I can't comment on the mixing/mastering since I could only listen to it with my Powerbook's tiny speakers...

Now that the CD is out, I'd like to present a visual guide to Trolls:

Re: Saw this and thought of Romeo Knight

Seems like pretty much the one I have (called Rosie):

Mine's 5 years younger though, made in '78. She can be heard on Immortal 3's Leander.

Re: Pet Shop Boys - Psychological / Ghost 'n' Goblins

I recently bought the new PSB Longplay " Fundamental " which contains a track called " Psychological " (track 1) and the melody in it sounds very close to the theme for " Ghost 'n' Goblins " on the C64! I wondered about that for the first time too... Too bad the whole ...

Well you can try pressing the "skip" or "next" button all you want, it won't do anything since apparently it's the last track on the second CD ;)

For production and generic listening I have two pairs of Sennheiser HD600 headphones (one for work and one for home) which are just awesome regarding sound quality and comfort, but for the final mixing headphones are never good enough. For mixing I use Genelec 1030A's that work pretty nicely even th...
