Re: Allright... I did it.... bought something digital.
Anyways, I just bought some more digital stuff: http://www.gpanagopoulos.com/eshop/images/detailed_images/Waldorf-Blofeld-Black.jpg No useful comment on the topic, I just wanted to say that the Bloffie kicks major ass, man! C'grats for your gadget. I'm a fan of that module. It is strictly subjectiv...

Good stuff man, especially the video.
What about adding the track to the KWED / Remix64 game? It belongs to there and you would reach a lot of listeners in the target audience

Re: The production of the loudness wars.
Well, 90% of my paying gigs came because I learned during my broadcast decade some dirty tricks to raise the RMS until it blasts folks minds before they know it - so may God bless loudness war :) I've sometimes noticed subtle EQ differences between WAV and playback mixes. But not often. I assumed it...

Bogan's Run
Released recently, Bogan's Rune is a rather simplistic yet addictive game from POLYGAMe, with a serious dose of chip rock. You would never guess the composer

Re: 2.0 or 2.1 PC speaker advice needed
I'm happy that you could find the root of the problem. Using the already working and preferred system is always the best solution :) But who knows, some info maybe useful for someone else. As far as my experience goes, I'd say some can't go wrong with M-Audio AV series as they are somewhat in-betwee...

I got some good suggestions so far. I don't know if they belong here but working on co-op remixes are great fun, too.

You're welcome and man, you must check Goto80 as well. Avantgarde / experimental mayhem, amazing stuff and supercool guy. Re: Your favourite contemporary c64-composers/songs?
Lots and plentiful, here are just some that came to my mind: Jammer - He is one of the most mindful, musical and awesome/improbably cool sounding contemporary jawropping SID musicians. Period. Kjell Nordboe - He left behind one of the most multi-dimensional SID heritages ever. You can find every pos...

Re: Patches do you make your own?
When composing I stick to the basics only as setting sounds during that can seriously decrease efficiency. I set sounds during the mixing stage, with the exception of the guitar. I try to do as many things in the box as possible as proper recalling presets outside the DAW may be a source of problems.

Re: How long on average to make a remix?
For standalone tracks, it's usually a couple of hours. If the themes need some practice, a couple of days. The rakBIT album was a couple of months. The next one will be a couple of weeks. You see, couples everywhere
