perhaps my plextor dvd has a prob to recognize the dvd quick enough, so when the login screen appears, the pc hangs up.who knows ?
anyway, i know now that probs like that can happen,even if they aren`t understandable.

when i insert dvd 1 from back in time live (the ppot,vr,ben d. dvd) and i boot up my pc,then, when the login window should appear (after the winlogo screen) , the whole screen just stays black. only removing dvd and reset hardwarelike would let me boot up my pc .is this just at my pc ? it`s some kin...

these plux aren`t meant to play sid files.but a good idea, actually, to sync a sid tune via vst plugin to the host. perhaps m. schwendt could do this. if you know how to program those plux, u can create the same sound u desired as in the sidfile. at least that`s what i think. the hard side on it, is...

yes, it`s possible to rip some sounds from sid files. just mute the channels u don`t wanna hear, in the sidplayer. then export the tune as wav. open the wav in your sample editor u like and crop it. use any vst sampler to load it, map it and play the sound rip. anyway, it would/could be much easier ...

that`show i always did it with those c64 tunes. export a wav, then load the wav in soundforge, take the 4/4 grid in 1 meassure and get the tempo. actually,i take 2 meassures to be more exactly to the bpm. open cubase, import midi track and look the notes and quantizises. fine tuning the bpm in sid2m...

the fx is sounding near the original. as i can see, u used the filter envelope to modulate the oscillator frequency.
could u also do a patch like the last ninja bassline, including those sweeping filter ?
