Aaaargh! ... How could they do that!?
Oh my god! ... That's like waving a beer at an alcoholic trying to stop drinking! ... I just saw the new Modular G2 from Clavia... I promissed myself to stop buying more gear, but this one is tempting! :O) ... Yes, unfortunately I suffer from gear-sickness, a "disease" that is quite hard g...

Did not even realize it was a two voice tune until I listened (again). He tricks us into hearing the chords because the two sounds playing a very much alike, and when the bass and lead plays the way they do it sounds like chords as you say... wether that was intentional or pure coincidence, I'll let...

Thanx Chris! :O) It's nice to get some constructive critisism... thank you! The 1 semitone prob. is absolutely correct. I doubble checked by listening to the original. The reason for this is simply that I did not listen to the original when I made this tune. I simply remembered the notes incorrectly...

So what do you think?
Hi Everyone! :D My latest tune is out, what do you think? (Action Biker) I want some honest feedback, and if there is anything "negative", then come on with it! ... If I'm not told when I'm doin' something wrong, I cannot get any better which is my intension (is it not everyones?). I've be...

Yeah! .... I was :O) I actually founded the group together with a friend of mine (who is now married to my sister by the way). That was the days... Guess I'll never experience that time again. I guess that's why I've begun doing remixes of C64/AMIGA... hoping to find a bit that resembles that time a...

project hubbard.
Hi there! :O) Just read those two threads about the "Hubbard Project" thing. There was some talk about the point in making this CD, as there is no such thing as hubbards original C64 (SID) to play them on. I can see the nostagic value of that of course, especially with the very varied filt...

Holy s...! :O/ And I thought I was the only one around with severe depression!? ... You can add me to the list too. I'm also on antidepressive medicin (helps keep the blackest of days away, though it'll NEVER cure the problem). On top of that I'm suffering from Social Fobia, and have been on wellfar...

Aahh! ... thank god! ... a fellow villain! ;O) I'm going to try and reason with them anyway because I think they are a bit wrong in their cannibalism theory. I can understand their anger if you start to hoard SIDs for no use, but If I buy a C64 it's MINE, and if I want to RIP the SID or smash the bo...

Holy shit! :O) Ifadeo How could you do that! ... show us such a link!? Now I feel like a serial killer, instead of a guy who tries to give new life to a shining little SID baby, by donoring a dead C64 SID. I'm a doctor experimenting on little mice... ;O( Hope I'm allowed to reply on that thread in E...

Hi again Thorsten! :O) With what you've done, I'd definitely say you are a SID expert, at least when it comes to Hardware and coding. My force probably lies in the fact, that I'm rather experienced in programming synthesizers, and thus know what I want! ;O) ... I'm currently using: Korg Z1 Waldorf M...

Hi!
If you've not already been there, then check out my three 8580 filter examples at http://www.kubarth.de/sid/index.html and hear how the 8580 filter sounds when controlled with a 128 value table and a logarithmic curve for the filter EG.
