Cybertracker question.
I have come across Cybertracker and it seems like a worthwhile program to use. Problem is its only in .D64 format. If it was in .tap format I could convert it to a wav file and load it into my real C64. Are there any .tap files available of this tracker or is there a way to convert a .D64 file to a ...

Re: Quick music theory question !
Pedal points are common in modern pop music. Pedal points are when the bass notes stay on one note to anchor harmonies around it. Its a good technique to build up tension in music. The youtube video is not the best example. For a clearer understanding listen to In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins. Pe...

I went and downloaded the XM, good tune as well! I agree don't think we could ever see a commercial like ...

But not tonight remix.
With Mordi putting up a good WIP version of The Cars Drive and also Monotron's Only You by Vince Clarke being covered. I was thinking of doing a cover myself. It's But Not Tonight sid tune by Jonas Hakansson or Home by luca Carrafiello. As they are pop songs do you think if it sounds ok (or great as...

Re: Article: The Remix64 Voting System
I think the voting system is a lot more balanced now. Don't know about your thoughts on this but I do tend to find on remixes that people release who ever makes a comment first on the remix. Their initial rating tends to influence the subsequent comments you will get mainly in either a positive or n...

Re: Getting my feet wet with a Yamaha YPT220, MIDI Sheet music?
For under a tenner you could try Magix Music Studio MM that has sheet music you can print out from Midi files. I use Cubase AV that came free with a controller keyboard I bought don't think it works on Windows Vista though. Of course just importing a sid to midi track won't always give you best resu...

Native Instruments Pro53 question.
This question has been bugging me for over 5 years so can anyone comeup with an idea why? I bought Pro 53 some time ago and was running it stand alone on my old Windows 95 P200 computer using a soundblaster card. Granted the polyphony was only 4 notes but I believe the original Pro 5 had that too. S...

Synth internal batteries question.
Being a fan of hardware synths. I have some from the 80's/90's that I have instorage and I was wondering how long the battery lasts before it wipes the memory? As much as I like hardware synths this does seem to be their downfall which softsynths or pre battery analog synths don't have.

Cheers Analog X-64.
I've taken on board the comments particulary Peter W's and after not heard it for over a month he's right I have overdone the topend EQ's so I've resubmitted it which should make listening too it a little less harsh. Look out for it soon!

Jean Michel Jarre's Souvenir Of China.
Hi everyone! I've always wanted to post something on Youtube so in the spirit of those Amiga slideshow demos, I've played and produced a remixed version of Jarre's Souvenir Of China as well as adding a slideshow to highlight his groundbreaking 1981 tour. Enjoy! :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fMr...

Sly Spy Secret Agent Remix released!
My Sly Spy Secret Agent Remix has been made available at Amiga Remix. I think its one of my best remixes to date as it features me playing my trumpet, synths and a funky 70's wah wah guitar! The remix production was inspired by Chic and 70's disco as well as a track from the film The Spy Who Loved M...

Re: Can't wait for RKO to go back into full swing!
And this THIS-AND-THAT-IS-GOING-TO-DIE-drivel seems to be the 'new' fad among the unimaginative, be it posted on a mod-page on moddb.com, a homepage or whatelse. If it doesn't generate a diarrhoea of updates, it's called dead after a few days... WOAH! GET A LIFE, YOU IMPATIENT LOT! I don't think C6...

Cheers Analog-X64!
Can't wait to try and get this one released! This time off has let me brush up on my Guitar and Brass skills and now I can (attempt) go to other musical areas that I wouldn't have been able to if I'd have just stuck with my trusty synths!
