Re: Should C64Audio.com try the "Radiohead" model?

@ Tron: I'm not sure the community is going to grow, as we are a fixed number of people who grew up with those computers and music and I would guess about 95% of all people active on forums, downloading from RKO are from this category. But on the other hand, since there were so many machines sold, t...

Re: Headphones

I also listened around with different headphones some years back and fell instantly ( 8) ) for Sennheiser because of the clarity in the treble too. No monitors though. Needs a repair though, the connectors/small plugs to the wires are not 100%. I can have them on my head for a whole day without feel...

Re: Pondering Something about SID Music.

I absolutely love one thing about the SID and its music and that is the arpeggio chords. Common people probably find this kind of sound geeky and computer-gamish but I just like the lush/sparkly sound. The original SID-sounds and arp-chords are a dilemma for me when creating remixes. What to keep an...

Re: SIDdontstop

Cool, kind of Krafwerk-ish at times. Nice to hear original songs using SID-sounds too.

Soundtracker - Amiga
OctaMED - Amiga
FT2 - PC
MadTracker - PC
Renoise - PC

Never liked OctaMED, it had some nice MIDI features but never got along with the interface and many other things I don't remember.

Or O2's Comic Bakery, sweet!
I think it was someone from Visa Röster for the vocals...
I agree with XO with a mix of vocals and instruments.

Tunes are sometimes discussed when announced in the release-forums, so there is one way to do it.

The demos are on the experimental side but it sounds like you can make it sound real cool. I'll check the demo.
I've tried another drum synth which is free, can't remember the name right now. This one have alot more tweaking options.

Yes, I've tried that too, but I feel I'm in the need for some fresh sounds and inspiration. Started out with a standard noise snare, and there was tweaking... and tweaking... and then some of the earlier generations of the sound started to sound better than the more processed ones. And then there wa...

Dance drums

Anyone got their hands on some decent dance/funky drum/percussion samples lately? For example Powertraces remix "Blackmail" or Lagerfeldts "Dutch Breeze/Robocop 3". Really Great tunes btw :) I listened to Nexus drum addon demo and it sounded absolutely great, only thing, I have t...

Of course it's a matter taste, I was just teasing you with a bad pun. I'm sure Reason is great, since it's coming new versions. I tried the first version for a couple of minutes but realized this was not what I was looking for. Now I'm happy with Renoise since it's a tracker. I'm stuck with trackers...
