But ain't that the world of reviewing in general? I mean say a reviewer of a top audio magazine reviews an album the chances are that he/she is not able to play all the instruments involved and is not able to provide technical details as to what you would wish - He would generally go on the feel of...

People will always dislike comments which aren't of a congratulative stance - It's human nature. I know personally i have never responded to criticism very well and respond much better to positive re-enforcement. ? That's right but a bit too simple. It absolutely matters who gives shouts in a negat...

Some valid points on this from all directions and as DHS said this is quite a constructive thread.. People will always dislike comments which aren't of a congratulative stance - It's human nature. Thats a brilliant way of putting it Infamous. There are two sections on remix64 for those who review at length and shouts. As you say, If you were driving past in your car you wouldn't likely shout.."Nice yellow, if slightly green embedded with lovelly roses and a swirling effect skirt which ra...

6 years!!!

Has it really been so long? I recall very closely my and markus's innitial talks about the site really vividly. It was nice in the early years to do something that made a difference. I wish i could feel the same today!

It's a bit like being in a job and you do something that improves your company's performance only for someone else to step up and take credit. In that respect it happened to me and it's fooking annoying. It's your hard work, your good doing.. It's so wrong and annoying that some clever wannabe tries...

Susanna Hoffs - Erm, Susanna Hoffs album..

Like it cos it's raw unlike her previous album to that. Love her voice, Love her even more! She's well into her forties now and still looks as hot as ever!

I think this is one of the problems with a lot of music these days, It's just so easy to create that musicians like Jarre, Oldfield etc can make an album so very quickly and lazily. There are no boundries and thus you can do anything. Working within boundries means you have to get the best out of w...

By the way, I also enjoy Oldfield. Also a supertalent. I haven't heard all of his music, but his musicality still seems to shine brightly. I'm not sure of what albums people don't like. I quite like his Light and Shade album although not that acoustic. An quite acoustic album like Voyager is superb...
