Sounds like a plan, which hopefully doesn't screw things up too much. If I'd have realised, I would have booked the train an hour or two earlier.

My train doesn't arrive until around 6pm in Manchester, so I'm hoping to get to the hotel by 7, so I could be cutting it somewhat fine... but cheers for the PM, I'll hopefully still be in time when I ring up

Sounds promising. What time do things start at Superbyte on the Saturday? I know roughly when I'd probably get to my hotel at least. If that's before you'd leave to go back into Manchester for the event, then I'd probably be interested

Yeah, I'm in the Travelodge too. Not sure I'll get there early enough on the Saturday for the Superbyte concert though. And would I need to purchase a ticket for it in advance? What's the general other plans for that night?

Everything's booked now (event ticket, hotel, train), so I guess you will be seeing me there

(even managed to get the train tickets for £25 which was a massive discount from when I first looked)

Having had a look, no different to before (as in, about 75 quid)...

In my case, it will probably have to be train up on the Saturday, and go home on the Monday. I'll look at how much trains cost *shudder*

Now that I'm slowly thinking about organising how to get there... if I chose to stay at said Chaddeton Travelodge, then the best travel suggestion is train to Manchester Piccadilly, and then a bus to the venue?
