okay.. a product of its time... perhaps a little twee sounding now.. but is a creation of the original composer, and therefore priceless

Just by the by...
I think it would be awesomeness beyond description if a talented orchestral arranger like Markus Schneider could do an arrangement of the entire suite of music from Beyond the Forbidden Forest!

An absolute must, the lushishly lush hypothetical Last Ninja credits medley by Markus Schneider :) http://www.remix64.com/track/markus_schneider/last_ninja_end_credits/ More ninja goodness courtesy of FBY: http://www.remix64.com/track/fby/the_last_ninja_palace_garden_concerto/ Back in Time Live (3?)...

Re: Marriage in Heaven - Tetris meets her man
Lovely arrangement, very nicely done :) For me however, Tetris is one of these untouchable masterpieces in its original form, and no remix has yet managed to capture the feeling of the original track - thats just my opinion though! However, as an alternative take on the piece yours works very well, ...

Re: Data of Synthetic Virtue
Thanks
the C64 one came after the "proper" remix - after Kenz had wondered what a C64 version might sound like I know what you mean about the Hubbard thing too, I could quite nail the Galway instrumentation quite right... but then its more me than him as well

Data of Synthetic Virtue
A cheeky non-c64 remix from me.. whilst still maintaining a link with it :) I've produced a cover of Martin Galway's "Runes of Virtue" - which was a Gameboy game, and later a SNES game. I remembered hearing this tune on Kenz's OMAHM podcast and really liking it, if finding the Gameboy inst...

Re: Yahama XG compatible module or keyboard..?
lol, not likely as a: I dont have the room inside the computer (its perilously close to the graphics card as is) and b: the XG just fills in a gap nicely for bread+butter instruments, everything else I can pretty much do with VSTi's... tho I'll admit the FM/DX7 module appeals

Re: Yahama XG compatible module or keyboard..?
I also like that its got its own midi interface so it gets round an old problem of having my midi keyboard/synth, and seperate sound module \o/ I've been spoilt by VSTi's the last few years, but can't always afford to get ones I might want, despite having a superb set of sounds at my fingertips in h...

After a protracted delay got the card today..

It sounds LUUUUUUUUUUSH. Also, it works really well in Win 7 32bit! Digital-out and everything into my SB-Xfi - which is essentially reduced to a set of monitor speakers by this thing

Re: The Mansion - Last Ninja II
Its good - am not fond of dance/trance type phaser/saw patches - so they sourthe latter parts of the track for me, but overall I think its nice The Last Ninja is soooo plunderable arrangementwise, I love it
