I've always hated Jim Bowen.... such a bighead. They booked him as an act in one of the nearby pubs, he *DEMANDED* picking up in a limo from the airport, and a 5* hotel for his stay......... He *INSISTED* on having replacement lamps put up in the club and having the stage POLISHED before he'd attend.... his fee was also *HUGE*

They told him to F**k Off, and hired Chubby Brown instead
