Had a virus/trojan myself a few weeks ago, which was very hard to get rid of. It was hidden behind a rootkit, so the OS ( Vista in this case ) couldn't even see the damned files ! ( MalwareBytes could see it, but not delete it ).
Got rid of it by booting an Ubuntu Live CD and deleting the files from there :D
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO what a ride'
