Sneaking with Jerry ...
Once again i needed to sneak in other people's compositions for a project
As I am quite pleased with the arrangement, i want to share with you (who's on orchestral!) !

Jerry Goldsmith's main theme of Air Force One
It's not taken from the VSL site. I have arranged the full version from the original score while they did not
Have fun !

Ahh ! Goldsmith , that man is a GOD to my ears
Air Force One is a very good score , you'd done Great job there Markus
Seems like your Orchestral ability just keeps Growing & Growing
How about doing the theme to "Powder" also by Goldsmith.
It's a Beautiful piece of music , but it's a little too short
Perhaps you could do me an extended version ????
I enjoyed the clip , Thanks

Heho Glyn !
Powder is one of my favourites from Jerry Goldsmith.
A very beatiful, sad theme. The version on "The Omen Compilation(Prague Philharmonic Orchestra)" lasts 04:32.
Wonderful Tenor Trombone (love this instrument) in the melody and some very nice bells work.
As i do not have the original score yet... the chances may not be high
But you get the new version of Butcher Hill (XXXXXXXXXXXXX - EDITED DUE TO HEAVY MISINTERPRETATIONS) , if my broadband hopefully lives up again today ! This will probably let your heart beat much faster

I think Goldsmith relies too much on his synths these days. His scores for Alien and the first two Star Trek movies make my hair stand on end, but Star Trek: Nemesis was awful. Unlike His early work, the emotion of the music seems to be lost in a barrage of klangy, swishy computer noises.
But he's still good. I would happily watch a movie for the sole reason of hearing his score.

Great, another set of strings ruined...

I just listened to TOL, Glyn. Pretty amazing. The master comes again out with extra dynamic arrangements and extraordinary sound combinations.
(although i would let the tune end at 04:54)
As I haven't slept for 34 hours, i better listen to BHill again tomorrow and then I'llprobably overwork it because it will sound different :
Grettings to Gayle, she answered me yesterday while you were out with the dog

Hi Markus ,
Glad you liked the Times Of Lore tune
Yeah , i'd liked to of ended it at 04:54 , but with the earlier tunes being the way they are , i thought it best to add a kinda Celebration theme to finnish it off.
I just had to use the Times Of Lore Fanfare
Though it still needs re-working , i'm just real glad we have these extra 2 weeks to tweak things up

Ohh, by far, of course I DO like the part itself pretty much. It's splendid orchestration. At a first listen I just thought the style fits better standalone, you knowNeil wrote: I actually like the ending, tho i admit glyn is patching things up here and there, but i loved the way it came full circle and ended in a fan fare.
