Interesting find.

Post by Analog-X64 »

A co-worker at work was playing this game.

I was doing some programming and not tottaly paying attention, but after a while it was like....hmmm That style of instrumentation sounds familiar and as a matter of fact that song has some elements of Jarre in it, but that the instrumentation sounded very familiar.

So stopped him to take a look at the credits and it was....SKAVEN for a game Called Bejewled 2 by PopCap Games.

Yep - it's great old-skool quality stuff!

I can't be 100% certain, but I think the tunes are even better (perhaps slightly different/updated) on the Xbox 360 Arcade version.

Much joy...

Jax :)

That track is quite good, and 40 minutes long !

Skaven has done more music for popcap games ( like Alchemy, Dynomite, Seven Seas, Bejeweled 1 etc. ) and most of it is available on his website : http://www.futurecrew.org/skaven/
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO what a ride'
