Battlefield.sid from Barry Leitch

Post by ifadeo »

i've noticed that 'Battlefield.sid (subtune1) from Barry Leitch'
is in big parts stolen from 'The Sisterhood' song 'Giving Ground'
from 1987. Sisterhood is a sideproject from The Sisters of Mercy...

Barry only changed the lead voice, in some parts....
may i write a message to HVSC....

Yeah, well discovered, 2Klang!
I didn't know the Battlefield sid yet, but now after having listened to it, i agree with you that the similarity is pretty obvious.

Btw: To call The Sisterhood a "sideproject" of SoM is ...well... uncommon

to take copyright of that name...on bass playing patrica morrsion,
well known from floodland and the this corrision video....

yep, i like such bands like bauhaus, joy division,sisters,fields...ect.ec.
on the other side i like kraftwert, fad gadget, daf, console, martin gore...

Thanx, Mahoney! :D
(and just in case you played "Monty on the run" up to that point, i remember driving "Sir Clive's C5" was the most challenging part of it for me... difficult steering! - Hmm, but VERY REALISTIC, 'cause if you think it over, moles are almost blind, aren't they? )

cheers,
Monty

P.S.: 2Klang: OK, but did you know that Eldritch now lives in Hamburg (just around the corner) and is said to be a big fan of the FC St. Pauli soccer-club? (for all foreigners: 2nd league, but: REEPERBAHN! :D)
