Post by tas »

Seems odd! but finally i have my driving test tomorrow! I'm 34 and this will be my first Driving Test! (not entirely true i failed when i was 17)

All these years, and i never bothered trying again!

Please wish me luck! I'm dead nervous!

Yep, I Passed with just 1 minor fault.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. I dunno if its just me but i have to say those driving tests just have to be the most nerve wracking thing I've done!

Phew! it's over now any way... Time for some Car searching! But not before i crack open a fine bottle of Shiraz!

You know, this is a monumental achievement for me. I'm not used to succeeding in anything. Everything i touch usually goes wrong.

I came out today thinking "I've achieved something!", something i really worked hard for and put in a lot of effort.

To many this may seem quite a small thing but for me it's a massive thing to accomplish. It's the first thing in my 34 years i can say i really did something and very well.

My instructor said.."I'n my twenty years of teaching your only the 5th person to pass on one fault!, I've only had one person pass on zero faults" - Your allowed 16 minor faults!

I'm not the most confident of people and to hear those coments i can't express enough how i feel at this moment.

I know it's tiny but to me this is a big thing!

Hey, Tas!
Many congrats !!! :D
Great to hear that you've finally won against your inner Schweinehund and found the strength to get that done!

You mentioned a minor driving fault. What! You managed to run over just ONE lawyer or politician? ;)
