Updated!

Lyrics:
(x2)
Doo, doo-doo doo, doo-doo doo.
The things we'll do...
Doo, doo-doo doo, doo-doo doo.
When I'm with you.

Some precious moments,
Just a few.
But ever since I think of you
Over and over again
And now I walk through flames

I miss you
And I'm gonna make you miss me too
Baby, I miss you
Dreaming of the things we'll do
Do...

Some precious moments,
Just a few.
But ever since I think of you
Over and over again

Doo, doo-doo doo, doo-doo doo.
The things we'll do...
Doo, doo-doo doo, doo-doo doo.
When I'm with you

Some precious moments,
Just a few.
But ever since I think of you
Over and over again
And now I walk through flames

(Chorus x2)
Baby, I miss you
And I'm gonna make you miss me too
Baby, I miss you
Dreaming of the things we'll do
Do...

(Synth solo)

(x2)
Some precious moments,
Just a few.
But ever since I think of you
Over and over again
And now I walk through flames

Baby, I miss you
And I'm gonna make you miss me too
Baby, I miss you
Dreaming of the things we'll do
Do...

Baby, I miss you...
Baby, I miss you...

Some precious moments,
Just a few.
But ever since I think of you
Over and over again
And now I walk through flames

The things we'll do...

Hehe, nice to hear.

Gonna add some more vocals, and clean it up. It's basically pretty much done otherwise, methinks. Any criticism though?

I have a criticism, how the hell do you keep releasing such good work so quickly?

Really good work there Mordi, a lovely tune. Who's the singer?

Yes oh yes... now this is going to the next level. You are getting better for sure. I think it needs a little equalising in a couple of parts; one hand of the piano playing towards the start was a little hard to hear over the other and in the end section a couple of instruments were a little loud against the rest. But it's pretty much there me thinks and they are only minor issues indeed. Very beautiful overall :D

Nice, thanks guys.

One question though: Do you think my little synth-solo (:p) right after the main chorus drags it down?

Now I've put my good set of headphones on and listened to this, I think the minor issues I had before are nullified pretty much. Maybe it was the speakers I was using that were distorting it slightly. Everything comes through much clearer.

Quite frankly, you get this out before the end of the year and I'm voting it in my top five. It is utterly mesmerising and the section between 2:50 and 3:28 especially... I think I've listened to the track 10-15 times already and I'm still discovering something new about it with each listen.

Do you mean at 3:28 to 3:46? I think the solo is good, perhaps alter the instrument slightly if you so wish but it's a nice touch to break up the song at that point.

Who wrote the lyrics btw, yourself?

Ok, well I changed it just a little bit at the solo, and then submitted it to RKO just now.

I'm not sure, it may have been her. They weren't made specifically for this song, but I have rights to use them. Actually, she sings an entirely different melody originally, but I use software to tweak each note to fit with the song.

Looking forward to the finished piece :)

I say that everyone has at least one remix in them to which they are defined and everything else they do is compared against in the future. So for me, Reyn had Comic Bakery and then Green Beret (at the Church). Peter W had Airscape Ride and then Albedo 80s. Dafunk still rules my ears with his Hardcore Goa mix and Dominator. For you, I believe this track will be it. You'll have a reputation to live up to now ;)

I don't often gush about many remixes, but this one really has caught my ear...
