The Remix64 Crazy Golf competition

Yesterday saw the first ever Remix64 Crazy Golf competition at Bowness-on-Windermere, between the following particpants:

Jan Lund Thomsen (Kwed)
Warren Pilkington (Waz)
Neil Carr (Tas)
Dan Gillgrass

Much fun was had, not least if you took 13 shots on one hole, right Dan? ;)

The scores were as follows for 18 holes:

Kwed - 79
Waz - 60
Neil - 80
Dan - 83

No one got a hole in one in regular play, so as no one was around due to the scorching heat (understatement) we then had a playoff on the 6th and 8th holes to see who could get a hole in one first. Neil was successful on the 6th and Waz on the 8th. Not after many many attempts though!

Now if only Brighton has a decent crazy golf course, there could be a good little competition!

Laugh, def not a bunghole in one!! three factors put me off......the heat, the large melons on the girl just in front of us and your spawnyness!!

beat me at Crazy Golf and that skimmer thing (forgot it's name), tho i did show him a bit or two about snooker

what was the final score dan? 60 something 18?

62-18, yes. Although Dan and I kicked back with a 27-11 win in the second game. Damn good fun though.

Oh, and it's air hockey, Neil. Something I'm used to playing, so I did have a slight advantage.

And it's not spawnyness, it's called "I've played it before"

Actually, the next time anyone from R64 or SlayRadio meets up, they really need to invoke another crazy golf (or mini golf as some of you call it) contest. It's a good laugh if nothing else, especially if you have distractions, right Dan?

Last time I played was this rather good course in Jersey, I got two holes in one that day, so I'm kind of keeping up the spawniness factor :)
