Re: Who actually created the music?
I am rather surprised that DW would be more likely to port than compose. I've always liked his work, so it would be disappointing if it turned out not to be his.

Re: C64 remix compilation
OK, thank you for checking. I was afraid I was not finding the correct tunes.
Btw., I loved The Tube remix. It's one of my favorite tunes, rather unrepresented in the remix scene, unfortunately.

Re: C64 remix compilation
Very nice, thank you. I am particularly happy to hear so many Whittaker tunes, they seem rather rare on remix compilations.
However, could you please post original author info for these tracks?

About remix requests
Hi!
I wonder, what are the rules and conventions for remix requests? As in, suppose that there are some pieces which I would like remixed, preferably in my favorite style. Can I post such requests? Suppose that I wanted to motivate the remixers by offering payment for such remixes - would that be ...

Re: Matt Gray "Reformation" Kickstarter
That was outside of Kickstarter, though. Basically, Kickstarter had nothing to do with it.TNT wrote:But when the Turrican Anthology project was launched on kickstarter, there also was the possibility to pay via Paypal.

got the soundtrack, and enjoyed the soundtrack ... for about five months, then the soundtrack was released as a standalone FLAC/MP3 download. For $17 less than I paid.
Note that the recent Amiga CDs (Brimble's Amiga Works and Wright's Strix Memoria) both fall into this category. Technically, the ...

Re: Potential new SOTB CD by Tim Wright
I damn well hope it gets over 75K - even though the version from Immortal sounds just fine to me, I would like to hear another one.

Who actually created the music?
I wonder whether someone can shed some light on the actual composers of music in 8-bit games. I am specifically interested in the cases where the games from different platforms show different data:
1) The same music, the same composer. Example: Saboteur 2. This is easy, both C64 and Sinclair ...

Re: Should RKO bring back the torrents?
I do have an almost complete archive (3456 files, 19.4 GB). Several files missing, because their download failed. So if you can send me filelists for individual years, I could put them up (though I would need some help with setting up the initial seed),

Re: Matt Gray Produced Box Set
I am keeping an eye, but I keep forgetting. It wouldn't be the first game soundtrack recording that I missed :-(
But I do hope I am at the C64audio.com e-mail list. I will check. EDIT: Aparently, I am on the list, if "I am happy to receive occasional emails about C64 music related things" is it.
