"Amiga 40" by Allister Brimble
Hi all, I'm very excited to release my new album which is a tribute to 40 years of the Amiga, an extraordinary machine that shaped so much of my creative life.
It also honours Martyn Brown, whose encouragement opened the door to game music for me. His work with Team17 defined an era, and I owe much of my path to his belief in what I could do.
One track, ST-01, is something I’ve wanted to create for decades: a full remake of the original SoundTracker instruments. I’ve gone back to the source samples, reworking and restoring them with care, trying to capture not just the sound, but the feeling of those early days.
This album is for anyone who remembers the thrill of booting up Workbench, the joy of discovering new mods, and the magic of making music on a machine that felt like it truly understood you.
I hope it brings back some of that wonder.

, featuring a medley of remixes of his tunes and remixes made by him. Rest in peace, Pete.
Goodbye Pete with ziona and Slaygon
SLAY Radio dedicated a special show to honour our friend, the musician, the remixer, the beloved mentor to many, Peter Clarke
who passed away last week. You can watch it in its entirety at the YouTube link below.
Peter Clarke 1958-2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Clarke - beloved SID musician, prolific remixer, and cherished friend - who left us today at the age of 66 after a long illness. Pete created many memorably tunes on the Commodore 64 back in the 1980s, both at Ocean Software and later as a freelancer. For the past 15 years he has been an active, passionate, and generous contributor of the Commodore remix scene, releasing several highly acclaimed remixes and albums. But above all, Pete was a good friend to many. His music and jovial spirit delighted us for decades, and his legacy will never be forgotten. We extend our deepest condolences to his partner, Rowena, and to his entire family. We at Remix64, and the entire Commodore retro and remix community will miss him dearly. Rest in peace, Pete, and may you delight the heavens with your harmonies.

While this mix wins few points for innovation, it's practically flawless in every other respect and, as such, comes highly recommended.
