Is there a setting for generally opening links contained in posts in a new window/tab?

This is a feature in some Forum Software.

What I do is using FireFox I simply press the <CTRL> key and click on the Link this opens the link in a new tab.

Usually, the middle mouse button (or click on the mouse wheel) will open a link in a new tab as well.

It is, but with an annoying quirk.

If you've live bookmarked the RSS feed (like I do in Firefox) clicking on a link within that feed doesn't go to the relevant post of the topic anymore that you'd click on like it used to - it always goes to the first one.

Seems that the # symbol with the post number is missing.

Any ideas?

Works in MSIE7, too. Thanks!

I tried the "mark forums as read" but it does not work. I put that in the Bug Report thread.

I think I'm missing out on a lot of new posts because of this bug.

There is a new release candidate, maybe they fixed it. Don't have time to install it atm though, so be patient, please.

Any news on the RSS issue, Markus?

I think it just now needs the post respond number in order for it to work fully.

Waz: I have hacked the RSS script so it appends the post ID. It now jumps to the proper page, but for some reason they have removed the #jump anchors so it's not possible to auto-scroll to the post. Hope it helps anyway. :)
