Suspiria (Jogeir Liljedahl)

Post by ZebUK »

One of my favourite Amiga demo tunes, loved everything about it. The many synths, haunting flute/whistle (?) basically the whole composition and the way it flowed from start to finish.

I've uploaded an MP3 I found which I believe Jogeir re-arranged himself.

It would be very nice to hear one or two remixes of this amazing tune, to see how others hear it.

Many thanks :D

edit: Apologies if my web space goes offline, just noticed an email saying the bill needs to be paid. Just had to buy a new PSU :'(

If i'm not mistaken wasn't this tune used for the end level music for the Batman - The Movie game on the C64?

Jogeir is cool tho I've been a tad disappointed to find out later that several tunes or tune sequences were close to replica´s. But one of the classic Amiga musicians for sure. I have his The Wanderer CD.

Downloading...

I bought the Wanderer album from Bjorn Lynn's website.

I love it but a mate described it as "lift music" :?

Track 2 definitely IS lift music (actually, I thought it was more Supermarket music), but the rest of the album is more subtle, I thought.

hahaha just shows how biased we can be when listening to music.

I've never liked lift music (well, rarely but don't like to admit it in public) but thinking about it I've quite liked pieces of music solely because they've been made on a computer whether its the 64's SID or the Amiga's chipset.
