The Kickstarter campaign of Wings of Death - Reworked Anthology
by the German Remix Group is live as of today and is accepting pledges, with €1287 of the original €6500 goal already pledged with 29 days still to go. As a reminder, the finished product will be available not only as a digital download, but also on physical media: as a double CD, and as a limited-edition Best of
vinyl record, with additional stretch goals also available. The project is also approved and supported by the original author himself, Jochen Hippel. Check out the campaign's page below for more details!
Matt Gray: Central Park Main Theme (LN2) (R5 Version)

project is most definitely in the works as evidenced by another track he posted from the upcoming Last Ninja 2
album. Earlier this year we got a single featuring the main theme from The Sewers level, and today we got a single with Central Park Main Theme.
A Quick Q&A with the German Remix Group
The German Remix Group (GRG) has recently announced that on April 22nd, 2026 they will launch a Kickstarter campaign for the creation of a physical album dedicated to Jochen Hippel's soundtrack of the Amiga game 'Wings of Death'. Although this group has been publishing remix albums since 2012 - all of which have been available for free on their website - not everybody may be familiar with them, so I thought I would make them sit down and answer a few questions to introduce themselves and their new campaign to the readers of Remix64.com. Although obliterated from Wikipedia by pedants who can't cope with reality, there's no keeping these guys down! Rock on!! 26 tracks of mayhem, a double CD, over 2 hours of music! Comes with a 32 page souvenir booklet, packed with photos of Soren. And some other guys, not sure who they are, but they look dodgy to me… *hehe* This album is not available to buy from us digitally, only from iTunes, but FLAC and MP3 Album packs are downloadable when you purchase the CD. * Note: all preorders have now been sent out * PPOT delivers exactly what is expected of them, and their fans will love this CD.
