1 Key edit - HELP needed

Post by rambones »

Hi,

Using Cubase, or Cakewalk (or other recommended), I'd like to do this:

Put in notes as they are to be, c-3 d-4 etc.......
in a pearl like row. No duration, expression etc.

Just hit the keys I need for the melody, and then they are all there, after one another.

Then, make the duration and spaces between the notes, just by pressing 1 key.

Then, apply expression, slides etc. with same technique.

If anyone knows what I mean, or have a plugin or any advise at all, pleazeeee!!! :-)

Thanks.

I don't have much training with step recording.

Can you try doing this, and tell me how it ended up ? :

Enter 8 notes, no pause, no length, just C2-C3-D3-G3 etc.....

Then use step function to make duration on each note, then use step to apply expression. or something..

Try if you can, then let me know what you did, I'm lost..

And many thanks for your feedback!!!
