Depends a bit on how early you book your tickets.

If you book now you could probably get from Malmö to Glöggeborg for 150 SEK (one way trip).

Check http://www.sj.se/

Their "Just Nu Klass 2" tickets are usually the cheapest.

The sooner the info arrives, if SLAY Gathering will be held, the sooner tickets can be ordered.. ^^

Even if I have to walk on me feeble legs to get there, this would be a thing out of the ordinary! ^^ Hoping that others will join?!

Hmmm...yeah, as soon as the info arrives I'm booking my tickets as well.

I'm actually thinking about driving there, if I can borrow (steal) a car. Though driving in Göransborg sucks! Worst city (next to Lund) in Sweden to drive a car in (at least that I've driven a car in...I can't claim to have been in every city in Sweden ;) ).

If I ever get a ride with you, I only got two rules..

1. Don't crash!

2. Don't kill us!!

Else I don't care how you drive.. I just wanna live! ^^

Sure. Assuming I can make it, I'll be hopping on a train departing from Copenhagen.

No idea how to navigate my way around Sweden so it would be cool to have a few travelling buddies. :D

Actually, you park your ass on the train in Köbenhavn and wake up in Göteborg less than four hours later. :)

Right now, if you are younger than 26 or a student, SJ wants 274 SEK for this trip. I imagine DSB would be in that price range too. That's f'in cheap.

Last time I checked DSB wanted something like 700 DKK for a ticket to Göteborg. Not even sure it was a return one. They've been know to cashing in a whopper of a profit for international journeys (and you can't even book them online - bah!). Checking Swedish Rails website reveals cheap tickets to be had, though. 280 SEK for a return trip from Copenhagen to Göteborg C. The downside being that you can't purchase cheap tickets from outside Sweden, but assuming I can make it to the event we'll just bug Slaygon to send some my way.

Incidentally, rejseplanen.dk's international query feature has both "Sweden" and "Skåne" listed in the destinations menu. :D

Hmm.. Sounds to me, as it is a return-thingie.. 350 DKR from Copenhagen to Göteborg sounds like a fair deal..
But never underestimate the greediness of DSB...
Would be nice tho to have some travel companions to get lost in the Country of Sweden... ^^

I'd be interested in going. Probably bring a couple of people too :)

What date specifically and what venue?

I better pass that M$ 70-316 test I'm talking on July 1st then. If I don't I'll have to bail on the gettogether and cram for a second shot at it the next week.

So I guess that's a tentative "yes, I'll be there" from me then. :D
