in german "page" and "side" share the same word: "seite".
i think because the letters are almost the same and it's pronounced similarly, "site" is often mistranslated to "seite" (in the meaning of "page").
now it might happen that you have some german guy not remembering exactly what the name was...something with the meaning of "seite" but not "phatpages" "phatsides" is born.
Yup. We ran into the same Problem with our Star Wars fan magazine.
In german it's called "Die Dunklen Seiten" ("The Dark Pages"). Though this also has the innuendo for "The Dark Sides" in german, this gag doesn't (obviously) works in the english conversion, much to our dismay.
The emperor wasn't pleased so the english version was scratched from the boards.
However this doesn't matter anymore as our little Star Wars community is crumbling away anyway...
