SYNTAX ERA mentioned in MAN!AC Magazine

Post by LMan »

From the MAN!AC magazine, 04/2008.
Translation from German:
C64 tunes with 80s sound

MUSIC - For several years, especially european homecomputer fans have produced CDs, where the chip tunes of the C64 era have been remade professionally. With "Syntax Era: Remix64 Volume 3" the latest release has been launched. Even gamers that have not grown up with the breadbin should give it a listen. The chief attraction of the album is its concept: the Re-recordings of the SID classics by Hubbard, Galway, Hülsbeck and others have been consequently remade in the style of various 80s hits by Depeche Mode, Sisters of Mercy or Michael Jackson. Possible doubts about the entertainment-value can be cleared by the elaborate sample clips at http://www.c64audio.com, where the CD can be bought either as physical record or DRM free mp3s at a fair price.
