The Next Show - BIT/RV/Whatever....

Post by RetroMarkie »

Folks, as you know there are idea's floating around for another show... but what we really need to know is how many of you want one? and are prepared to support such a venture.

Myself, Danceaway and Mark Knight are involved with a few basic forms but all of this will fall flat without support. Without support there is really no point.

More info here viewtopic.php?t=3386

So, just post a few words on the subject, basically to help us get an idea for numbers for a UK based show this year.

Thanks in advance to you all...

Markie

Well, at the moment my retro event calendar for this year looks rather empty... A mini-RV plus concert would be great fun.

I think everyone should stick with the charity event + mini RV + mini BIT idea.

Markie,

I want another gig - and I really want one that you've organised. You're a natural showman, your primary concern has always been everyone having a good time, and breweries follow you 'round asking you to hold your piss-ups with them.

You really are such a massive part of the Heart of the Scene, mate. My blackened and shrivelled heart broke a bit when you were talking about stopping doing RV, because they're so much fun. Long weekends surrounded with mates, playing games and listening to our subculture choonz... Mark, it is special, that voodoo that you do.

So yeah. Please. More.

Even if I never had managed to attempt a single show (and probably never will :/ ), those events are vital of the scene to me... without them, a lot of the 'feeling' would be lost...

I look at the pics you guys took on each event and I think: 'Now that's what we were talking about the whole time. The spirit comes to life.'

And I smile...

Mate, you have both played a fantastic part in supplying some amazing artwork... it's almost legend! Thank you so very much, you have always offered so much and asked for so little . . . thank you :-)
