One year after a Tribute to Jochen Hippel the GRG gave their tribute to another retro legend. The album a Tribute to Jeroen Tel was released in the winter season 2012/2013. The three new members Sunspire, Xenox & Awesome-A joined the German Remix Group for this project.

After having listened to this tune, uh, about a million times the past few days, I came to appreciate it even more. It gets every nuance right: the key changes, the minor blends, the quick trills, you name it. Every single instrument and every single note is absolutely essential in this remix to make this piece work as well as it does. Absolutely masterfully arranged and mixed, I'm still in awe!

Dominator (Welcome to Korriban mix)

First of all: welcome! It's always good to hear material here from new folks! Having said that, this remix needs more love. The drums have a weird phaser/eq effect on them that makes them sound like they're in a metal shed. The arrangement overall has a good direction, and the instrumentation is quite unique. But somehow none of these seem to gel together into an good quality piece.
