Quadrant Subtune6 (My Endless Silkroad) - arranged by Peacemaker

Review by tom, 29/02/2004

What a nice touch to this little sid!
I really like the movie-feeling it has to me, it's a bit like an Ennio Morricone Movie-Theme! As i wrote in my email 2 THUMBS UP!

Supremacy and Myth of Poseidon - arranged by Markus Schneider

Review by tom, 06/09/2003

Well, a typical Markus Schneider-Orchestral arrangement, but it works well!!
The arrangment is very clever in itself and the sounds are well choosen.
Only the bass frequencies are a bit too much for my ears, but that's a question of taste.
Put ya hands up in the air, Markus😉

Trantor (Storm cometh remix) - arranged by Infamous

Review by tom, 09/06/2003

Since i am a big Fan of BJÖRK i do really love this remix..
Clever arranged Drums with a little distortion - Fx are giving this
remix the right speed.. unfortunately i don't know the original SID too much
that's why i gave a grey-face for nostalgic impression😉
But overall it's a very good work, me thinks, and worth to give it a try!!

Wizball (Electronica) - arranged by Gustav Taxén

Review by tom, 01/05/2003

Well, this would have been a great Introduction for any C64-remix tune… But since there is really NOT ANY WIZBALL in it at all, it get's a very green face from me as well!!

Shadow Skimmer - arranged by Markus Schneider

Review by tom, 30/03/2003

Yes, it is a great orchestral remix indeed! It shows that Markus perfectly knows how to work with Strings, Woods, Flutes and stuff…
I gave it only a VERY GOOD vote for the Chart-system - not an OUTSTANDING because even when the Sound-Samples are brilliant and of course the arrangement as well, there is some depth missing technically.
Markus knows what I mean, the overall sound is too dry for my ears but maybe that's a question of taste, but it was the only reason to give it not an OUTSTANDING VOTE!

Even when there are no lyrics used, these doo-doos are really catchy. A well done production, clever arranged and mixed! It's a must download for all of you!

Zoids - arranged by o2

Review by tom, 29/01/2003

If somebody knows how to sound like JARRE, then it's definitely O2.
A great remix of a great SID! It shows me that the man behind the machines is important, not the machines behind a man ;o)…
which means i do own a SUPANOVA, too, but i can't make it sounds like JARRE!!!
