Razmo shouts:You have the idear right for a bouncing dance version, and it could easily have scored an orange smiley, if you just listened to the original and got the lead melody 100% right... This SID has a very catchy lead melody, so it's darn important you nail it
Nice mix, but the melody line is missing several - IMHO, important - notes which breaks up its flow.
I don't mind the re-interpretation of the melody line so much; sometimes breaking away from the original can be a good thing in order to leave room for originality and still be recognisable. But rubbish vocal samples and poor moments of mixing... No.
